Parish Council
The Parish Council meets on a regular basis to discuss a variety of subjects
relating to the village.

Magazine
The village has a monthly magazine which contains lots of information
about the village and what's going on.
Churches
The church of St Peter's is a focal point of the village and is located
on the village green. Information about the church, together with listings

The Methodist Church is located on Whempstead Road
and details of services and contact numbers can be found in the Parish
Magazine.
School
Benington C of E Primary School dates back to 1873 and has approximately
80 pupils from reception to Year 6. The majority of pupils are village
children, but the school aslo accepts children from outside the village.

Nursery/Pre-School
There is also a Nursery on the school premises providing
high quality care and education for children below statutory school age.

Village Hall
The Village Hall is used by village organisations for a variety of events
and is available for hire. For details and rates, go to the Village

Recreation Ground
A new Charity Trust Committee has been formed with
the view of rebuilding the pavilion and developing the receation ground
as a village resource. A website has been created at
